How to take care of your family’s health

An average woman who lives in a metropolitan city is either working or a homemaker. The biggest challenge is how to make the food nutritious for the kids in the advent of junk food which is most easily available now days.

A 21st generation woman is already burdened with office and house chores. For such a busy woman it is necessary to keep a check on the food intake of the family. Therefore to start with we can assume there are four healthy members in a family. The diet plan might slightly vary from person to person, lifestyle and environment. But the basic pillar of a healthy diet works on the Golden rule of Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dinner like a Beggar. Which means an average breakfast should contain proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins; in the form of eggs or cereals, milk, fruits and nuts.

Alteration in diet isn’t sufficient. There has to a mutual consent among the family for daily basic exercises. Parents must surely encourage their kids for yoga’s and meditation at young age itself. The kids would understand the benefits of exercise better if parents set an example in front of them by doing so.

Next step towards a healthy family is annual health checkups. People in their mid 40’s tend to reject the fact that they are prone to health deterioration. As women go through physical changed in her 40’s she need to take care of herself as ignoring the health might prove dangerous in the long run. Working parents who don’t have much time for their exercise routine can try desk yoga at their work place. They can go for recreation activities along with their kids.

Major problem nowadays arises because of the junk food intake. The burgers and pizza damage the whole system more then you could ever imagine. The soft drinks or casual alcohol adds fuel to the fire.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very much important as it can add up years in your life.
